Digital Links was a founding member of the Digital Pipeline Project. Digital Pipeline is a Microsoft® sponsored initiative aiming to provide schools and communities in developing countries around the world with affordable access to refurbished computers donated by UK organisations. This allows thousands of students and young entrepreneurs in disadvantaged communities to realise the full potential of ICT.

Digital Links is a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher. As such we can install and license Microsoft operating systems for our developing country partners at an extremely low cost.

In order to provide an efficient, reliable and professional service, Digital Links outsources the collection, processing and, when necessary, environmental recycling of equipment to professional organisations. This ensures complete security and compliance with all UK and EU regulations.

Digital Links works in partnership with Tier 1, which is a leading secure and ethical IT disposal organisation with Infosec 5 accreditation. Infosec 5 is the latest standard in IT security processes as determined by the Communications- Electronics Security Group (CESG), the Information Assurance arm of GCHQ who vet the Infosec standard.

In order to environmentally and affordably enable lab setup, we work with Green-Works. Green-Works is an award winning registered charity and social enterprise that offers the re-use, recycling and remanufacturing of office furniture as well as a waste minimisation consultancy service.
